The 12TB SAS/SATA Data Storage System connects seamlessly to the Expansion Box and to the IMSolo-4 Expansion Ready only unit. This option  includes a PCIe SAS Extender Controller Card that plugs into the expansion box to provide a large volume RAID storage space. The System contains four (4), 3.5”, SAS/SATA hard drive bays that can accommodate up four (4) 3TB, 3.5” user supplied hard drives. The hard drives are user configurable as RAID or JBOD. The 12TB SAS/SATA Data Storage System is ideal for customers who own a Solo-4 (Expansion-Ready) unit and are looking for unlimited storage expandability by combining multiple systems together.

  • Performs Secure Capture: Utilizing the IM Solo-4 “Port assignment” feature, users can securely capture up to four (4) suspect hard drives simultaneously directly into the twelve (12) TB of storage space SAS/SATA Data Storage System.
  • Provides Wide Storage Capacity: User can choose storage capacity according to the Forensic Lab’s needs. This option is ideal for Forensic investigators who need to keep the digital evidence data in a safe and independent stored manner.
  • Works seamlessly with the IM Solo-4: In the lab, the user can plug the 12 TB Data SAS/SATA Storage System directly to the Forensic Lab servers or to PC Forensic units via the IM Solo-4 unit with the Expansion Box (not included) and the PCIe SAS Extender Controller Card (included). This allows the user to easily preview, transfer and access stored data in a secure environment.
  • Works as a Stand Alone Unit: In the lab, the user can plug the 12TB SAS/SATA Data Storage System directly to the Forensic Lab servers or to Forensic PC units by installing the PCIe SAS Extender Controller PCIe card to the Forensic Work Station (not included) or through IMSolo-4 and Expansion Box with the PCIe Extender SAS/SATA Controller Card.
  • Provides Optional Storage Expandability: This option provides a flexible storage expandability by allowing the forensic investigator to utilize the IM Solo-4, Expansion Box with PCIe Extender SAS/SATA Controller Card and any size (12 TB, 16TB, 24TB, etc.) reliable, inexpensive third party SAS enclosure bays and choose the storage space according to the Forensic Lab’s needs. These third party SAS Enclosure Bays can also be connected directly to the Forensic Lab servers or to Forensic PC units by installing a PCIe SAS Extender Controller PCIe card (included) to the Forensic Work Station or through the IMSolo-4 alone and the Expansion Box with PCIe Extender SAS/SATA Controller Card.
  • Allows Sharing Digital Evidence: Users can PUSH any data stored in the 12TB SAS/SATA Data Storage System or any third party SAS/SATA Enclosure Bays to any location on the network via the IM Solo-4 unit’s native 1 GB Ethernet connection. This allows Investigators to automatically share digital evidence data with local and remote fellow investigators without the need to purchase any special, expensive storage docking devices to connect to the network. The Shared Folder is configured to be write-protected through the Solo-4 setting.
  • Allows for an easy RAID configuration setting: The RAID configuration can be easily set in the BIOS of the RAID controller during the IMSolo-4 unit boot time. A Windows based RAID configuration tool is also supplied.

These hard drive duplicators also feature an efficient, cable-free drive caddy system allowing users to copy hard drives quickly minimizing the total time necessary for drive disk duplication or hard drive wiping processes. Cleaning hard drives becomes an easy task with our WipeMASSter and WipePRO hard drive sanitization units. All data is wiped out from the hard drive in a secure and fast operation. Our hard drive imaging units feature the latest Copy Hard Drive Modes including the ICS IQCopy (Intelligent Copy) and the Percent of Disk Drive Copy Modes. The newest Copy Hard Drive Modes allow storing multiple source hard drive images on a single hard drive or Shared Network folder using Segmented File Formats or by using the Virtual Hard Drive (VHD) image format. The native Gigabit Ethernet Connection allows all hard drive duplicators to store and upload hard drive images to/from SAN. All hard drive duplicators and hard drive eraser units support data sanitization operations to easily delete and erase all data from hard drives to DoD specifications, by Single Pass and by the new Secure Erase feature supported by many of today's modern hard disk drives.
