The 4TB PCIe Data Storage System connects seamlessly to the Image MASSter Solo-4 Forensic Expansion Ready unit via its PCIe port to provide a large volume RAID storage space.  The System contains four (4), 1TB, 2.5” shock mounted hard drives that are user configurable as RAID or JBOD. Additionally, the PCIe Data Storage System comes standard with one PCIe Card Reader, and two empty PCIe slots that can be used to install swappable ICS approved PCIe controller cards such as Fiber Channel, USB 3.0, FireWire, Fast SCSI, etc. The 4TB PCIe Data Storage also includes a Power Adaptor to power the DFFS system to an external Forensic Server. The 4TB PCIe Data Storage System is the ideal option for customers who are purchasing or already own an IM Solo-4 Expansion Ready unit.

  • Performs Secure Capture: Utilizing the IM Solo-4 “Port assignment” feature that allows user to assign write-protection to the IMSolo-4 Evidence Ports, digital forensic investigators can securely capture up to four (4) suspect hard drives simultaneously directly into up to four (4)TB of storage space.
  • Provides Wide Storage Capacity: Eliminates the concern of having the correct size Evidence drives when performing a forensic acquisition in the field.
  • Works seamlessly with the IM Solo-4: In the lab, the user can plug the 4TB PCIe Data Storage System directly to the Forensic Lab servers or to PC Forensic units via the IM Solo-4. This allows the user to easily preview, transfer and access stored data in a secure environment.
  • Can Work as Stand Alone Unit: Users have the option to connect the 4TB Data Storage System directly to a Forensics Lab Server or Forensics Computer by installing a PCIe Port Controller Card to their forensics Lab Server or Forensics PC (Controller card is supplied standard with this option)
  • Combines Storage and More Connectivity/Interface Options: The 4TB Data Storage System is supplied with two free PCIe slots for the user to plug in any swappable PCIE controller cards such as Fiber Channel, USB 3.0, FireWire, Fast SCSI copy 1 to 2. Additional PCIe Controller Cards sold separately.
  • Allows Sharing Digital Evidence: Users can PUSH any data stored in 4TB Data Storage System to any location on the network via the IM Solo-4 unit’s native 1 GB Ethernet connection. This allows Investigators to automatically share digital evidence data with local and remote fellow investigators without the need to purchase any special, expensive storage docking devices to connect to the network. The Shared Folder is configured to be write-protected through the Solo-4 setting.
  • Allows for an easy RAID configuration setting: The RAID configuration can be easily set in the BIOS of the RAID controller during the IMSolo-4 unit boot time. A Windows based RAID configuration tool is also supplied.

These hard drive duplicators also feature an efficient, cable-free drive caddy system allowing users to copy hard drives quickly minimizing the total time necessary for drive disk duplication or hard drive wiping processes. Cleaning hard drives becomes an easy task with our WipeMASSter and WipePRO hard drive sanitization units. All data is wiped out from the hard drive in a secure and fast operation. Our hard drive imaging units feature the latest Copy Hard Drive Modes including the ICS IQCopy (Intelligent Copy) and the Percent of Disk Drive Copy Modes. The newest Copy Hard Drive Modes allow storing multiple source hard drive images on a single hard drive or Shared Network folder using Segmented File Formats or by using the Virtual Hard Drive (VHD) image format. The native Gigabit Ethernet Connection allows all hard drive duplicators to store and upload hard drive images to/from SAN. All hard drive duplicators and hard drive eraser units support data sanitization operations to easily delete and erase all data from hard drives to DoD specifications, by Single Pass and by the new Secure Erase feature supported by many of today's modern hard disk drives.
