The Expansion Option adds the capability to capture data from additional devices which have interfaces not available on the Image MASSter Solo-4, IM4000PRO and WipePro units. The Expansion Option is configured with the following hardware: 1) FireWire 1394 PCI-Express card for connecting 1394A(1 Port) or 1394B(2 Ports) mass storage devices, 2) SCSI Ultra320 PCI-Express card for connecting SCSI mass storage devices. Solo-4 can capture 2 SCSI Suspect drives simultaneously with no speed degradation(*), 3) PCI-Express to ExpressCard 34/54 Reader for connecting a broad range of ExpressCard compliant cards, such as ExpressCard USB 3.0 cards used to connect USB 3.0 mass storage devices(**).

NOTES:

(*)External Multi-Output Power Adapter (not supplied) is required to power the second SCSI drive when capturing 2 SCSI drives to 2 Evidence drives simultaneously. It is also recommended to use the External Multi-Output Power Adapter to power two or more external drives connected to the Expansion Box.

(**)ExpressCards are not supplied with the Expansion Option.

Features

The Expansion Box Option comes standard with following configuration and components:
Standard Configuration of the Box:
1394A(1 Port) and 1394B(2 Ports) controller card.
Fast SCSI Ultra 320 controller card. (User will be able to connect two SCSI drives)
Express Card Reader (not for use with USB based memory cards).
The user can remove the top cover of the expansion box very easily by opening the top thumb screws and replacing any of the installed controllers card with other desired and approved by ICS PCIe controller cards(*)
(*) The PCIe controller card must be PCIe-4X or PCIe-1X. Also some of the cards might need external power source.

These hard drive duplicators also feature an efficient, cable-free drive caddy system allowing users to copy hard drives quickly minimizing the total time necessary for drive disk duplication or hard drive wiping processes. Cleaning hard drives becomes an easy task with our WipeMASSter and WipePRO hard drive sanitization units. All data is wiped out from the hard drive in a secure and fast operation. Our hard drive imaging units feature the latest Copy Hard Drive Modes including the ICS IQCopy (Intelligent Copy) and the Percent of Disk Drive Copy Modes. The newest Copy Hard Drive Modes allow storing multiple source hard drive images on a single hard drive or Shared Network folder using Segmented File Formats or by using the Virtual Hard Drive (VHD) image format. The native Gigabit Ethernet Connection allows all hard drive duplicators to store and upload hard drive images to/from SAN.
