The Image MASSter Solo-4 Forensic Super Kit enhance the Image MASSter Solo-4 forensic hard drive duplicator that offers investigators the ability to image one "Suspect" to two "Evidence" drives or two separate "Suspect" drives to individual "Evidence" copies simultaneously at SATA2 speed. The Image MASSter Solo-4 forensic hard drive duplicator features built-in support for SAS, SATA and USB drives. It authenticates with SHA-1, SHA-2 and MD5. It also supports IDE, RAID, e-SATA drives as well as a variety of Micro Media cards. All "Evidence" can be saved as 100% copies, Linux DD images or E01 image files. All "Evidence" drives can be encrypted "on-the-fly" during the acquisition process to protect sensitive data during transportation or storage. This forensic hard drive duplicator also offers a built-in Gigabit Ethernet connection allowing users to upload images to Storage Area Networks (SAN) for the purpose of processing and archiving images. The Image MASSter Solo-4 forensic hard drive duplicator Kit includes the PCIE Expansion Box that brings extra connectivity to the hard drive duplicator. It also includes the LinkMASSter Option which allows the user to seize data from unopened Computers or Laptops.

IMPORTANT NOTE: An External Power Supply, not supplied with the Expansion Box Option, may be required to supply SCSI drive power if more than one SCSI drives are connected. If an External Power Supply is not available, it can be purchased from ICS as an accessory. The recommended ICS Power Supply Adapter is the ICS Multi-Output Power Adapter (F.GR-0052-000A).

Intelligent Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) assumes no liability for the security of the customer’s computer/network systems. ICS assumes no liability for the security of the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 when it is connected to either the Internet or another Network. Utilizing the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 for to upload data to a network requires the unit to be connected to the network and this may cause a risk of the system being compromised. The user is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of both the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 and the network in use when the unit is utilized to upload data to a network. The security of the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 when connected to the Internet or a network relies on the user’s discretion; however, ICS recommends, at a minimum, to the user to take the following steps:

The Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 is set to have Internet Connection and Automatic Windows Updates disabled as default. Users will need to enable Internet Connection when uploading data to a network. It is highly recommended that the user install anti-virus and firewall Hardware Device protection prior to connecting the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 to either the Internet or a network. A lesser protection can be achieved with personal firewall software. Continuously running an updated version of anti-virus software with the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 may help prevent an intrusion into the unit or network. ICS recommends updating the anti-virus software program every time the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 is connected to the Internet or a network. Users should always utilize a clean (scanned for viruses) USB Thumb Drive when updating the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 unit Software or Firmware. Users should ONLY connect the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 to a network when uploading data. It is imperative for users to REMOVE the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 connection when not actively performing these tasks.

These recommendations are provided to the user as a reference; however ICS cannot assure that the Image MASSter^TM Solo-4 will not become compromised when connected to the Internet or a network. User assumes all responsibility for the data and security of the Network.

Extreme Speed Built for Today's and Tomorrow's Hard Drive Technology: Built to work with the fastest hard drives available, Solo-4 duplicates, authenticates and sanitizes at SATA-2 speed (18 GB/min top capability). This technology not only allows the unit to take advantage of today's fastest hard drive speeds but also allows the user to be prepared for tomorrow's future hard drive speed improvements.
One side Protected "Source" Port: For the protection of the user's original images, the unit provides one standard write protected native SATA/SAS "Source" port and one standard write protected native USB 2.0 "Source" port for the duplication of up to three "Target" drives. IDE Adapter included.
Multiple "Target" Ports: provides three native SATA/SAS "Target" ports and three USB 2.0 "Target" ports to allow the user to make up to three copies of a single drive. One "Target" of the target ports can be configured by the user as an optional write protected "Source" port to allow the single copying of 2 different "Source" drives to two individual "Target" drives simultaneously
"On the Fly" Drive Encryption: Built-in DiskCypher technology allows the full encryption (AES 192/256) of Forensic Images. The process is done without speed degradation during the acquisition process.
Windows XP Operating System: Solo-4 runs on the highly stable and proven Windows XP Operating System. Unit can be customized to individual organization needs upon request.
Drive Wiping: Supports single pass or full DoD Sanitization.
Multiple Hash Verifications: SHA-1, SHA-2, MD-5 of the "Source" Hard Drive and DD Images
Uploads "Source" Images to Network Storage: Solo-4 uploads "Source" Data Images to Networked Storage Area using 1 Gigabit Ethernet Connection for the purpose of processing and archiving images.
Preview Data directly on the unit: Preview active files on the "Source" Drive utilizing Windows XP file viewers.
