The Fast SCSI feature enhances the performance of the ImageMASSter Solo-3 Forensic unit. The Option allows for high speed SCSI capture operations, which makes the IM Solo-3 Forensic unit an inclusive forensic device that can capture all types of hard drives as well as capturing from an unopened computer using the USB or FireWire interface and ICS LinkMASSter Software.

.:FAST SCSI Option: Allows you to capture directly from one SCSI drive to another SCSI drive at transfer rates exceeding 4GB per minute. Optional adapters will also allow capture from SCSI to P-ATA or S-ATA drives. Capturing to two SCSI Evidence (target) drives can be performed using a dual channel SCSI cable support 320MBit/sec. SCSI terminators are a must when using SCSI drives. Data cannot be transfered from the SCSI port to the IDE/SATA ports of the IM Solo-3 Forensic unit. (As mentiion, user will need to use the optional adapter - see :optional hardware).
