The Fast SCSI feature enhances the performance of the ImageMASSter Solo-3 IT unit. The Option allows for high speed SCSI copy operations, which makes the IM Solo-3 IT unit an inclusive IT device that can copy all types of hard drives as well as copying from an unopened computer using the USB or FireWire interface and ICS LinkMASSter Software.

.:FAST SCSI Option: Allows you to copy directly from one SCSI drive to another SCSI drive at transfer rates exceeding 4GB per minute. Optional adapters will also allow copy from SCSI to P-ATA or S-ATA drives. Copying to two SCSI Target drives can be performed using a dual channel SCSI cable support 320MBit/sec. SCSI terminators are a must when using SCSI drives. Data cannot be transfered from the SCSI port to the IDE/SATA ports of the IM Solo-3 IT unit. (As mentiion, user will need to use the optional adapter - see :optional hardware).
